Released in 2003 this
is the manual of the massively detailed shooting
program taught to all professional soldiers. It covers all
aspects of non telescopic sight shooting and is essential for
anyone who wants to become the complete shooter.
The "Quick Kill" principle
is what a lot of shooting - War (real or
gaming) and hunting is:
-
Fast and by your reflexes - See it and fire
all in the same phase movement.
-
Not enough time to get comfy and take aimed shots
through high powered scopes! (That's what snipers
do - But they've earned that right by being masters
at the Quick Kill first!)
It's a BIG guide that covers what professional
soldiers are taught during basic and then advanced training
Fact 1 - Think about it - OK
you might be a decent shot with a scope already - But
be honest, can you say that you're a genuine "good shot"? Fact
is that if you don't know how to shoot naturally and by reflex
then you are NOT a complete shooter and never will be. Truth is
hard eh.
Fact 2 - Expert level
mastery of these principles is mandatory for anyone who wants
to advance to scope shooting, meaning, in military terms
the gateway to Sniper platoon and/or Special Ops
teams.
This makes it a great textbook course for
anyone who wants to improve their shooting - For hunting or
targets.
-
You'll learn key, critical skills that will
make you a much better shot even if you
usually use s scope
-
You'll learn the fundamentals of shooting - why
shots hit or do not hit
-
Plus lots of fun stuff like the different
shooting positions and use of lasers.
-
As you'd expect it's got some really good info on
zeroing your rifle in - An essential thing to know
for when you zero rifle scopes as if your rifle is
not zeroed before the scope is a lot harder to get
inline.
Here's a fast snapshot of what the
guide covers - If you'd prefer just to push ahead and get it
