Air Rifle shops

As of October 1st 2007, to buy a new air rifle in the UK, you must to go to a physical real world shop that is a Registered Firearms Dealer (RFD) You do not need a firearms license for a normal air rifle but the dealer will record your details in their log book and you will go on record as an air rifle owner....did I hear the phrase nanny state! 

Mail order sales in the UK are no longer allowed...great news if you're a shop.

To find a registered air gun dealer -

1. Check online for shops in your area, for example "rifle shop -your area name-" or look in your real Yellow Pages if you still have one or try www.yell.co.uk or the Yahoo directory -

2. Check the British Shooting Association website or contact them. 
   
   
3. Contact manufacturers, some may be able to direct you to a local dealer.
